Modernized existing functionality for Yellow Corporation by developing web applications with Angular, Node.js, and Typescript. Developed a mobile web app using Angular, Node.js and Webview for Yellow Corporation, enabling dock management on the floor. Built a full-stack customer web portal using React, Typescript, GraphQL, Node.js, and DynamoDB. Configured Terraform and AWS Serverless deployments and integrated an end-to-end test suite. Optimized and added new features to Bible.is, an iOS and Android application with over 5 million downloads, using React-Native. Established a testing and build process using CircleCI and Device Farm.

Configured a UI to allow non-technical users to schedule deployments and backups.

Interests

A lifelong experimenter, tinkerer, and world traveler. Since I was young I have enjoyed building computers, designing radio antennas, and experimenting with technology. I also enjoy camping, hunting, and a variety of nerd culture.

I grew up in the great state of Wisconsin, and I currently live near Kansas City. I graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science. After that I spent 4 years in the Army as a Logistics Officer. The majority of my service was at Fort Riley, KS and southern Afghanistan.
